actually. There are two Manolo's 20m apart in Arequipa's pedestrianized shopping thor-
oughfare, Calle Mercaderes. Shagged-out shoppers find it hard to resist the hiss of the cof-
fee machine and the glint of the glass display case stuffed with thickly sliced cakes.

joying the view from the outdoor balcony.
