Saba $$$
(Independence Rd; mains US$4-6; lunch & dinner) You'll leave this excel-
lent restaurant, specialising in Yemeni dishes, as full as an egg, and whatever you opt for
is certain to tickle your taste buds in just the right way. The mendi (lamb) and hanid mut-
ton or goat (slow-cooked in a beehive oven) are tasty and filling, but leave room for the
Yemeni desserts - the fata mus (a concoction with banana) and the fata timir (a concoc-
tion with dates) will satisfy everyone except your personal trainer. West of the centre.
