Sights
Visually, Hargeisa is fairly underwhelming; it's the ambience and the sense of exploration
that are the pull here. Most places of interest to travellers, including shops, businesses and
hotels, are on or around the main thoroughfare, Independence Rd, which snakes for sever-
al kilometres from the western outskirts of town to the east.
