To complete the full circuit, stopping one night at each lodge, takes seven days, but
many people skip Changiti and Adele and do it in five. Shorter rides are also possible or
you can extend the journey into the Sanetti Plateau in Bale Mountains National Park; your
Dodola guides will hand you over to a new guide and horse at the border. In the rainy sea-
son, when rivers flow fast and high, Duro may be blocked and you'll need to descend
from Mololicho to Herero (20km, four to five hours).

Each of the five lodges has two sleeping rooms (eight beds
total) complete with mattresses and bedding and a fully equipped kitchen. Hot showers
cost Birr5. Changiti is a more basic permanent tented camp.
