quality of goods for sale in the capital is that vast. You'll find most of the cheap souvenir
stalls along or around Churchill Ave and in Piazza - haggling is always the way of the
day!

style dress worn by highlander men), head to this group of stalls lining Entoto Ave, a few
hundred metres north of Botswana St and the Spanish embassy. Unlike Churchill Ave or
Piazza, this is where locals do their shopping.

Of all the shops/stalls north of Haileselassie Alemayehu on Churchill
Ave, this has the biggest selection (if you ask to see the back room) and the best-quality
pieces, though the prices are higher than most.

This is located near the Sheraton for one obvious reason: nobody staying
elsewhere can afford to shop here! However, the artwork and traditionally inspired mod-
ern furniture are exquisite and it's worth a wander.
