Shopping
Spend some spare change or spend your kid's college fund: the spectrum of prices and
quality of goods for sale in the capital is that vast. You'll find most of the cheap souvenir
stalls along or around Churchill Ave and in Piazza - haggling is always the way of the

(Entoto Ave) If you're interested in blankets or traditional clothing like a shamma (toga-
style dress worn by highlander men), head to this group of stalls lining Entoto Ave, a few
hundred metres north of Botswana St and the Spanish embassy. Unlike Churchill Ave or
Piazza, this is where locals do their shopping.
