2. In the Attribute Manager, make sure the Color button is chosen. In the Color area, set
the parameters as follows:
R: 85 G: 85 B: 85
3. In the Attribute Manager, choose the Basic button; the Basic Properties area is dis-
played. In this area, select the Bump check box. Next, choose the Bump button; the
Bump area is displayed.
4. In this area, choose the arrow button located next to Texture ; a flyout is displayed.
Choose Surfaces > Simple Noise from the flyout; the Simple Noise texture settings are
applied to the material. In the Bump area, enter 5 in the Strength spinner.
5. Choose the Simple Noise button next to Texture ; the Noise Shader [Simple Noise] set-
tings are displayed. In the Noise Shader [Simple Noise] settings area, make sure the
Shader button is chosen. In the Shader Properties area, set the parameters as follows:
U Frequency: 10 V Frequency: 10
6. Choose the left arrow button located at the right side of the Attribute Manager menu and
then choose the Reflectance button; the Reflectance area is displayed. Next, enter 57 in
the Global Reflection Brightness spinner. Now, select the Wrought Iron material in the
Material Manager and drag the cursor on the Support , Rod , Leg1 , Leg1.1, Leg1.2, and
Leg1.3 in the Object Manager; the Wrought Iron material is applied to the supports and
legs of the bed.
Applying Textures to the Drawers
In this section, you will apply texture to the drawers.
1. Double-click on the empty area in the Material Manager; a new material is created in the
Material Manager. Next, rename it as Drawers mat .
2. In the Attribute Manager, choose the Color button. In the Color area, set the parameters
as follows:
