3. Invoke the
Move
tool and align

4. Make sure
Wooden Frame
is selected in the Object Manager and choose the
Make Edit-
able
tool from the Modes Palette;
Wooden Frame
is converted into a polygonal object.
5. Choose the
Edges
tool from the Modes Palette; the
Wooden Frame
is displayed in the
edge mode.
6. Press F1; the Perspective viewport is displayed. Right-click on the
Wooden Frame
; a
shortcut menu is displayed. Choose
Knife
from the shortcut menu; the
Knife
tool set-
tings are displayed in the Attribute Manager. Select the
Plane
option from the
Mode
drop-down list. Enter

in the
Cuts
spinner and

spinner. Make sure

is selected in the

7. Add two vertical edges to

spinner. Also, add two more horizontal edges to

in the Perspective view-
port, as shown in Figure P1-42. Press SPACEBAR to exit the tool.
