3. Invoke the Move tool and align Wooden Frame , as shown in Figure P1-40.

4. Make sure Wooden Frame is selected in the Object Manager and choose the Make Edit-
able tool from the Modes Palette; Wooden Frame is converted into a polygonal object.
5. Choose the Edges tool from the Modes Palette; the Wooden Frame is displayed in the
edge mode.
6. Press F1; the Perspective viewport is displayed. Right-click on the Wooden Frame ; a
shortcut menu is displayed. Choose Knife from the shortcut menu; the Knife tool set-
tings are displayed in the Attribute Manager. Select the Plane option from the Mode
drop-down list. Enter 2 in the Cuts spinner and 120 in the Spacing spinner. Make sure
X-Y is selected in the Plane drop-down list.
7. Add two vertical edges to Wooden Fram e in the Perspective viewport, as shown in Fig-
ure P1-41. Next, select X-Z from the Plane drop-down list and enter 92 in the Spacing
spinner. Also, add two more horizontal edges to Wooden Frame in the Perspective view-
port, as shown in Figure P1-42. Press SPACEBAR to exit the tool.
