7. Choose the
Edges
tool from the Modes Palette; the
Leg1.2
is displayed in the edges
mode.
Next, right-click in the Perspective viewport; a shortcut menu is displayed. Choose
Knife
from the shortcut menu; the
Knife
tool settings are displayed in the Attribute Manager.
8. In the
Options
area, select the
Loop
option from the
Mode
drop-down list and clear the
Restrict to Selection
check box. Next, click on an edge in the Perspective viewport, as
shown in Figure P1-8; a new edge loop is created. Now, press SPACEBAR to exit the
tool.
9. Choose the
Polygons
tool from the Modes Palette;
Leg1.2
is displayed in the polygon
mode. Invoke the
Rectangle Selection
tool from the Command Palette. Make sure that
the
Only Select Visible Elements
check box is cleared. Select the polygons of
Leg1.2
in the Perspective viewport, as shown in Figure P1-9
.
10. Right-click on the selected polygons; a shortcut menu is displayed. Choose
Bevel
from
the shortcut menu; the
Bevel
tool settings are displayed in the Attribute Manager.
