Creating an Expression
In this section, you will create an expression using the XPresso Editor .
1. In the Object Manager, right-click on Gift ; a shortcut menu is displayed. In this shortcut
menu, choose CINEMA 4D Tags > XPresso ; the XPresso Editor is displayed.
2. Press and hold the left mouse button on Gift in the Object Manager and drag the cursor to
the XGroup area of the XPresso Editor ; the Gift node is added to the XPresso Editor ,
as shown in Figure 13-30. Next, close the XPresso Editor .
Next, you will create user data.
3. Make sure Gift is selected in the Object Manager. Choose User Data > Add User Data
from the menu in the Attribute Manager; the Manage User Data dialog box is dis-
played.
