Animating the Traffic Lights
In this section, you will animate the traffic lights using keyframes.
1. Make sure that the timeslider is set to frame 0. Select
Traffic-Lights
in the Object Man-
ager.
2. In the Attribute Manager, make sure the
User Data
button is chosen and the
User Data
area is displayed.
3. In the
User Data
area, enter
1
in the
Red
spinner. Next, press and hold the CTRL key
and then click on the name of the
Red
spinner to select it. Similarly, add the
Yellow
and
Green
spinners to the selection; the color of the labels changes.
4. Right-click on the selected labels in the
User Data
area; a shortcut menu is displayed.
From this menu, choose
Animation > Add Keyframe
, refer to Figure 13-27; a key-
frame is added at frame 0.
5. Move the timeslider to frame 25 and add a keyframe by repeating the process mentioned
in step 4.
