7. In the Object Manager, right-click on
Traffic-Lights
; a shortcut menu is displayed. From
the shortcut menu, choose
CINEMA 4D Tags > XPresso
, as shown in Figure 13-9;
the
XPresso Expression
tag is added to
Traffic-Lights
in the Object Manager and the
XPresso Editor
is displayed, as shown in Figure 13-10.
8. In the
XPresso Editor
, right-click in the empty space in the
XGroup
area; a shortcut
menu is displayed. From the shortcut menu, choose
New Node > XPresso > General
> Object
, as shown in Figure 13-11; the
Traffic-Lights
node is added to the
XPresso
Editor
.
Note
The name of the object selected in the Object Manager is assigned to the added Object
node.
Tip
:
If you have accidently closed the
XPresso Editor
, you can reopen it by double-clicking
on the
XPresso
tag in the Object Manager. The
Object
node is used to represent a CINEMA
4D
object, tag, or material.
Next, you will add the
Red
output port to the
Traffic-Lights
node.
9. In the
XPresso Editor
, click on the output port (red square) of the
Traffic-Lights
node;
a flyout is displayed. Choose
User Data > Red
from the flyout, as shown in Figure
13-12; the
Red
output port is added to the
Traffic-Lights
node.
