Working with XPresso
Learning Objectives

• Work with the XPresso Editor
• Create and connect nodes

INTRODUCTION
XPresso is a node based system in MAXON CINEMA 4D that is used to build automated
object interactions. These nodes are created and linked in the XPresso Editor by drawing
lines from one port of a node to another port of the other node. These lines are also referred
to as wires. In this chapter, you will learn to use the XPresso Editor .
TUTORIALS
Before you start the tutorials of this chapter, you need to download the
c13_cinema4d_r16_tut.zip file from www.cadcim.com . The path of the file is as follows:
Textbooks > Animation and Visual Effects > MAXON CINEMA 4D > MAXON CINEMA 4D

Next, you need to browse to \Documents\c4dr16 and create a new folder in it with the name
c13 . Next, extract the contents of the zip file in this folder.
