Applying Material to the Object
In this section, you will create material for the clones.
1. Double-click in the Material Manager; a new material with the name
Mat
is created.
Double-click on
Mat
; the
Material Editor
dialog box is displayed.
2. In the
Color
area of the
Material Editor
, choose the arrow button corresponding to
Tex-
ture
; a flyout is displayed. Choose
Gradient
from the flyout.
3. In the
Material Editor
, choose the
Gradient
button; the
Shader Properties
area is dis-
played. In this area, set the colors of the gradient by using the following two shades of
the green for the gradient: RGB (2, 83, 2) and RGB (29, 255, 0). Next, close the
Mater-
ial Editor
.
4. Drag
Mat
from the Material Manager to
Cloner
in the Object Manager to apply material
to the clones.
5. Press CTRL+R to preview the abstract shape. Figure 12-29 displays the render at frame
