9. Make sure Random is selected in the Object Manager. In the Coordinates area, enter
2284 in the P . Z spinner; Random is positioned in the Perspective viewport. Next,
choose the Autokeying button to deselect it.
Creating Camera
In this section, you will create a camera and a spline to animate camera along the spline.
1. Choose Create > Spline from the main menu; a cascading menu is displayed. Choose
Arc from the cascading menu; an arc is created in the Perspective viewport.
2. Make sure Arc is selected in the Object Manager. In the Attribute Manager, choose the
Object button; the Object Properties area is displayed. In this area, enter 2145 in the
Radius spinner. Next, select XZ from the Plane drop-down list.
3. Choose the Coord button; the Coordinates area is displayed. In this area, set the para-
meters as follows:
P . Y: 883 R . H: -90
4. Choose Create > Camera from the main menu; a cascading menu is displayed. Choose
Target Camera from the cascading menu; a target camera is created in the Perspective
viewport, as shown in Figure 12-21.
