Selecting the
Alpha Channel
check box in the
Render Settings
window
The
Alpha Channel
check box is used to calculate a pre-multiplied alpha channel on ren-
dering. The pixels in the alpha channel are either black or white. The black pixels in-
dicate that there is no object present in the scene, whereas the white pixels indicate the
presence of objects in the scene.
7. In the
Render Settings
window, select the
Output
option; the
Output
area is displayed.
In this area, set the parameters as follows:
Width:
1920
Height:
1200
Now, close the
Render Settings
window.
The
Width
and
Height
spinners are used to set the width and height of the rendered image,
respectively.
8. Choose the
Render to Picture Viewer
tool from the Command Palette; the rendering
begins in the
Picture Viewer
window, refer to Figure 11-10. You can adjust the zoom
level of the rendered image by using the middle mouse button.
