You will notice that contact shadows are now prominent in the render.
Creating Render Passes
The Multi-pass rendering in CINEMA 4D allows you to post edit your renders in a com-
positing package such as Nuke or Fusion. In this section, you will create ambient occlusion,
shadow, diffuse, reflection, refraction, global illumination, and illumination passes.

1. Choose the Edit Render Settings tool from the Command Palette; the Render Settings
window is displayed. In this window, choose the Multi-Pass button; a flyout is dis-
played, as shown in Figure 11-8.
