Before you start the tutorial of this chapter, you need to download the
c10_cinema4d_r16_tut.zip file from www.cadcim.com . The path of the file is as follows:
Textbooks > Animation and Visual Effects > MAXON CINEMA 4D > MAXON CINEMA

Next, you need to browse to \Documents\c4dr16 and create a new folder in it with the name
c10 . Next, extract the contents of the zip file in this folder.
Tutorial 1
In this tutorial, you will composite 3D objects in a 2D image using the Camera Calibrator
tag. The final composition is shown in Figure 10-1. (Expected time: 45 min)
The following steps are required to complete this tutorial:
a. Set the camera in the scene.
b. Composite 3D objects in the scene.
c. Add light in the scene.
d. Save and render the scene.
Setting the Camera in the Scene
In this section, you will set the camera in the scene.
1. Choose File > New from the main menu; a new scene is displayed.
2. Choose Create > Camera from the main menu; a cascading menu is displayed. Now,
choose Camera from it; the Camera object is added to the Object Manager.
