Unwrapping the Body of the Model
In this section, you will unwrap the body of the model.
1. Make sure that the
BP UV Edit
option is selected from the
Layout
drop-down list.
2. Make sure
beast
is selected in the Object Manager and choose the
Paint Setup Wizard
tool from the Command Palette; the
BodyPaint 3D Setup Wizard
dialog box is dis-
played.
3. In the
BodyPaint 3D Setup Wizard
dialog box, make sure that the
Objects
radio button
is selected. Next, choose the
Next>>
button; the
UV Setup
area is displayed in the
BodyPaint 3D Setup Wizard
dialog box, refer to Figure 9-8.
4. In the
BodyPaint 3D Setup Wizard
dialog box, choose the
Next>>
button; the
Mater-
ial Options
area is displayed. Choose the
Finish >>
button; the parts of the body will
be unwrapped and displayed in the Texture View. Now, choose the
Close
button to close
the dialog box.
Painting the Body of the Model
In this section, you will paint the body of the model.
1. Make sure that the
BP UV Edit
option is selected from the
Layout
drop-down list.
2. Make sure the
Objects
tab is chosen; the list of objects is displayed. Expand
Beast
and
then select
Body
from the list of objects displayed.
3. Choose the
Colors
tab; the
Color
area is displayed, refer to Figure 9-26. In this area, set
the parameters as follows:
