1. Open the
textureEraser.psd
file in Adobe Photoshop. The file opens in the canvas area
and two layers with the name
Background
and
Layer
are displayed in the
Layers
pan-
el. Double-click on the
Background
layer in the
Layers
panel; the
New Layer
dialog
box is displayed. In this dialog box, choose the
OK
button; the
Background
layer is
unlocked and replaced with
Layer 0
in the
Layers
panel.
2. Make sure
Layer 0
is selected in the
Layers
panel and then set the following values in
the
Set Foreground Color
swatch in the Tool Box:
R:
126
G:
131
B:
137
3. Press ALT+BACKSPACE; the Layer 0 is filled with the specified color.
4. Choose the
Horizontal Type Tool
from the Tool Box and then type the words
CADCIM
Technologies
. Use font type and font size of your choice. Use black color for the font
color. Make sure that the text should be placed inside the white outline only, as shown
in Figure 9-22.
