Adding Keyframes to the Text
In this section, you will add keyframes to the text.
1. In the Animation toolbar, choose the Autokeying button and make sure that the time
slider is set to frame 0.
The Autokeying button is used to set the keys automatically. On choosing this button, the
boundary of the viewport turns red.
Tip : The automatic keyframing should be used carefully as it may lead to addition of keys
on other frames than the ones required.
2. Select CADCIM in the Object Manager; the Text Object [CADCIM] settings are dis-
played in the Attribute Manager.
3. Make sure that the Object button is chosen in the Attribute Manager. In the Object
Properties area, right-click on the Horizontal Spacing option; a shortcut menu is dis-
played. Choose Animation > Add Keyframe from the shortcut menu, as shown in Fig-
ure 8-3; a keyframe is added and the circle located at the left of the Horizontal Spacing
option turns red.
