INTRODUCTION
Animation is an act of giving life to a 3D object or character. To animate an object, you need
to define different positions, rotations, and scaling of an object at different frames in the time
slider. On playing an animation, all frames are displayed one after the other in quick suc-
cession to create an illusion of movement. In this chapter, you will learn about the playback
control buttons available in the Animation toolbar. You will also learn to use the Timeline
panel.
