In the Attribute Manager,
choose the
Coord
button; the
Coordinates
area is displayed.
In this area, set the parameters as follows:

3. Choose the
General
button; the
General
area is displayed. In this area, select
Square
Spot
from the
Type
drop-down list and select
Shadow Maps (Soft)
from the
Shadow
drop-down list. Next, select
Inverse Volumetric
from the
Visible Light
drop-down list.
The
Square Spot
option is used to project square shaped light. It is most suitable to cast a
light on walls and floors.
4. Choose the
Details
button; the
Details
area is displayed. In this area, make sure that the
Use Inner
check box is selected. Next, set the parameters as follows:

5. In the
Details
area, select
Inverse Square (Physically Accurate)
from the
Falloff
drop-
down list. Next, enter
10000
in the
Radius/Decay
spinner.
The value in the
Radius/Decay
spinner is used to determine the range of the scene that will
be illuminated.
6. Choose the
Visibility
button; the
Visibility
area is displayed. In this area, make sure that
the
Use Falloff
and
Use Edge Falloff
check boxes are selected. Next, set the parameters
as follows:
