INTRODUCTION
In computer graphics, lighting plays a vital role in defining the look of a scene. Lighting is
primarily used to produce the effect of light and shadows. Also, you can add depth to the
scene by using advanced lighting techniques. There are seven types of lights available in
CINEMA 4D. All the lights are treated as objects, and can be transformed, deleted, and du-
plicated.
TUTORIALS
Before you start the tutorials of this chapter, you need to download the
c06_cinema4d_r16_tut.zip file from www.cadcim.com . The path of the file is as follows:
