Combination of Assumptions
Some authors have determined that the as-
sumptions are not mutually exclusive because it would be possible to deal
with widespread taxa under one assumption and with redundant distribu-
tions under another (Enghoff 1996; Morrone and Crisci 1995; Page 1990a).
