During the course of the measurement sequence with generator temperatures in-
creasing from about 110 to 140 C and rather constant cooling water inlet temperatures
of about 23 C, the evaporator outlet temperatures decreased and the cooling water
outlet increased by about 5 K (see Figure 5.64).
Summary of Experimental Performance The first DACM prototype reached COP
values between 0.10 and 0.20 with an evaporator cooling capacity up to 1.5 kW.
However, the auxiliary gas circulation was not high enough, leading to rapid satu-
ration of evaporated ammonia. While evaporation took place between the condenser
