Objective 6.4: Conigure Group Policy Preferences
Group Policy Preferences (GPPs) is a set of CSEs to Group Policy that enable preference set-
tings on domain-joined computers. Unlike policy settings, preference settings can be altered
by the user, but provide a starting point for configuration. You use the GPMC to set prefer-
ence items and you can do specific targeting to configure settings appropriate to the user or
group. There are both Computer Configuration and User Configuration preference settings.
