3. Click Configure VPN Or Dial-up. Select Virtual Private Network (VPN) Connections and
click Next to accept the default text for the connection.
On the Specify Dial-up Or VPN Server page, click Add to add a RADIUS client.

RADIUS CLIENTS
RADIUS clients are not Windows client computers; they are VPN servers such as Windows
Server 2012 R2 running the Remote Access role. The VPN server is a client of the authoriza-
tion and authentication service of the RADIUS server. The NPS or RADIUS server services
authentication requests from RADIUS clients (VPN servers).
On the New RADIUS Client page, shown in Figure 4-3, enter a name in the Friendly
Name box.

6. Enter the IP address or DNS name of the VPN server (RADIUS Client). Click Verify.
In the Verify Address dialog box, shown in Figure 4-4, click Resolve to verify that the
name or IP address can be resolved.
