Diving
Aqua Africa

)
The bay's only dive operator, this
dependable western-run outfit sits up the hill two minutes' walk from the harbour. Casual
dives for certified divers cost US$50, and full PADI four-day beginner courses cost
US$375 (including all materials). Colourful chiclid fish, the kind you've probably seen in
a dentist's aquarium, swim throughout the lake, but more spectacular are the schools of
dolphinfish who are drawn to your torch on night dives.
Aqua Africa also offers windsurfing rentals (per half day US$20) and snorkelling gear
(per half day US$15). There's also a very tasty cafe bar where you can snack on wraps
and posh coffee as you learn your theory.

snorkel combined for US$15.
