ghosts of past presidents and foreign dignitaries who've stepped down Capital's swank
corridors. Set in lush gardens, rooms here are tastefully conservative with bureaus, bouncy
beds and large en suites. The main restaurant dishes up Italian and Indian cuisine and very
tasty grilled food (mains MK3000).
There's also a gym, pool, hairdresser, shops and travel agents here.

A short drive from the city centre, in a
gentle rural setting, is a choice of swanky individual thatched chalets (Madonna has
stayed here on her controversial visits to Malawi) with beautiful views all the way to
nearby Nkhoma Mountain.
This is a working farm so the food, including fresh vegetables from the farm gardens
and delicious homemade yoghurts and cheese, is fantastic. There are also plenty of nature
trails and bird-spotting opportunities here. Hyenas, wild pigs and even leopards are also
occasionally spotted here.

standard rooms are naturally present for this excellent chain, fresh and well furnished with
