Moçimboa da Praia and then on to Mueda. There's also a daily bus to

seven hours); otherwise take the Nampula bus to Namialo junction and wait there for on-
ward transport. All of Mecula's Pemba departures are at 4.45am from the Grupo Mecula
office, just off the main road and about 1.5km from the centre on a small side street be-
hind Osman's supermarket.
For
Mozambique Island
the best bet is to continue to Nampula, and then get onward
