Great value for money, this place, in a renovated 400-year-old
house, has dorm beds upstairs and downstairs, twin and double rooms, a self-catering kit-
chen, hot showers, a bar, a fantastic rooftop terrace, bicycle rental, laundry service, a trav-
eller's notice board and lots of information about onward travel. From the 'arcade' street,
take the first left after passing the Missanga craft shop (to your right), then take the next
left.

This atmospheric place has spacious, high-
ceilinged rooms, all with nets, ceiling fans and mosquito netting in the windows, plus a
garden courtyard, and a good restaurant. A few rooms have private bathroom. It's near the
public gardens.

In a good setting at the island's northern tip,
this once pleasant hotel, now run by CFM, has begun to fade and is no longer good value
for money. However, the setting is quiet and lovely, and most rooms have large windows
and sea views. Breakfast is included, and there's a restaurant.

sleek, boutique hotel overlooks the water on the northwestern side of the island. Most
ground floor rooms have only a skylight, although they are light and airy, with ceiling
fans. The upstairs suite has wide views. The upstairs rooms also have their own pool, and
there's a restaurant (meals from Mtc400) and a rooftop terrace.
