Inhassoro
Sleepy Inhassoro - the last of the 'main' coastal towns before the N1 turns inland - is a
popular destination for South African anglers. Its sunbaked, white-sand shoreline is un-
cluttered and inviting, although there's no surf or breeze, except during storms when the
wind stirs up the waves a bit. Boat transfers to Bazaruto and Santa Carolina islands, both
visible off-shore, can be arranged at any of the hotels, often on-the-spot, but it's best to
give advance notice. Expect to pay about Mtc10,000/12,000 for a seven-person boat trans-
fer to Santa Carolina/Bazaruto. BCI and Millennium BIM have ATMs.
