Kaya Ka Hina $

Mtc1200/1500; ) The centrally located Kaya Ka Hina is convenient if you're trying to
catch an early bus or if you don't want to drive down to the beach. It has no-frills, clean
rooms upstairs and an inexpensive restaurant below. It's on the busy main road about
100m north of the praça transport stand. The hotel entrance is around to the side of the
restaurant.

There are ATMs at Millennium BIM (N1, near Kaya Ka Hina) , Standard Bank (one
block behind Kaya Ka Hina) and Barclays (N1, opposite the church) . For internet access
try Telecomunicações de Moçambique (per min Mtc1;
7.30am-7pm) , diagonally op-
posite Standard Bank and just behind the central market.
Getting There & Away
The main ' praça' transport stand is near the old Pôr do Sol complex on the main road at
the southern end of town. Buses to Maputo depart daily at about 6am (Mtc280, four
hours). It's marginally faster to take one of the north-south through buses, although get-
