This lodge has gorgeous rooms with stone floors, which are beautifully
furnished, and the bathrooms are as good as any in Zambia. It's a delightful place to stay
that's well worth the indulgence. The Courtyard Cafe here is an excellent international
restaurant open to nonguests.

A popular spot for a drink, this place is also the place for pizza and
pasta, as well as steaks and grills. It's a cross between a sports bar and an eatery.

Formerly Arabian Nights, this is one of the top restaurants in the region, featuring
subcontinental curries, European dishes and sizeable cuts of meat. It doubles as a salubri-
ous place for a drink, but add 18% sales tax and 10% service to the bill. It's off Nationalist
Way with a sign 'Heer LTD' on the gate.
Cosy Jo's

Kitwe's nightlife is surpris-
ingly low-key compared to the capital, but Cosy Jo's is the place to be at night. It is a huge
garden bar and draws a large crowd for chilled Mosi Lager and African tunes.
