bent, crushed, or punctured. FLORA does not have a LiPoly
charger included by design, which allows safe use with multiple
battery types and reduces risk of fire as it is not recommended
to charge these batteries on fabric. A separate LiPoly charger is
required (see the Adafruit website for some options).

Family of Add-ons
When you want your wearable electronics projects to sense
complex stimuli in the physical world, like movement, location,
or color, you'll use a sensor breakout board. Sensors can act like
the eyes or skin of your project by sensing changes in the physi-
cal environment, then communicating those changes to the
FLORA main board to trigger actions like flashing a color-
changing LED or buzzing a vibration motor. The add-ons in the
FLORA family have connections that line up perfectly with the
FLORA main board, and they also have large pads to make them
easy to sew with conductive thread.

What's a wearable project without LEDs?
These simple single-color LEDs ( Figure 3-6 ) are the smallest
and easiest way to add light to a wearable project. The tiny
