above, a microwave cable having the following clinical device specifications
was developed:

A. Electrical
i. Attenuation at 2.45 GHz, 6 dB maximum (1.0 dB/ft, or 3.28 dB/m)
ii. Rated power at 2.45 GHz, 80 W
iii. Distal tip (antenna)
B. Mechanical: must be flexible enough to track through catheter around
the aortic arch and across the lesion
C. Functional: must be possible to locate proximal end of antenna under
fluoroscopy to line up with thermocouple
2. Device description : coaxial cable with whip or gap antenna
