Pangkalan Bun Park

The town's tidy park, visible from the riverfront along JL Antasari, is crowned by the
former sultan's home,

. This large and mostly empty wooden building was built in
1806 and rebuilt in 1990 after a deranged woman burned it to the ground. It's not yellow,
but was originally draped in yellow fabric.
