here), this contemporary business-leisure hotel is the best value in Kalimantan. The spa-
cious rooms are very comfy, staff is as friendly as can be, the breakfast buffet excellent,
and the public spaces top-notch, including a winning spa. The nearby rooftop terrace, with
pool and running water, offers an attractive setting for relatively inexpensive meals (if it's
not raining). Tight budget? Splurge.

ury has all the amenities one needs to recover from a jungle trek, although the prices are
higher than the competition's (ask for discounts). In the rooms, wood, leather and glass
combine to form a sophisticated decor; the executive rooms are particularly superb. Bey-
ond lies a big open lobby with glass elevator, and a swanky bar. The breakfast buffet with
Western menu is enough to last you through the day. And the enormous RiverX entertain-
ment complex will definitely perk you up at night.

larly room 205, which has windows and access to a public balcony. Room 307 is similar
