GETTING TO BRUNEI: BANDAR LABUAN TO
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
Getting to the border
Ferries to Brunei depart Bandar Labuan daily at 1:30pm, arriving in Brunei's Serasa Ferry
Terminal about an hour later. The entire trip for an adult/child costs RM60/38. Aim to show up at the ferry termin-
al around 12.30pm.
At the border
Most visitors are granted a visa on arrival for free, although Australians must pay a fee (p 471 for
more information).
Moving on
The Serasa Ferry Terminal is 20km northeast of BSB. From here, shuttles can take you to central
Bandar Seri Begawan for B$2 (40 minutes). The terminal is linked by ferry with Pulau Labuan, from where boats
go to Menumbok in Sabah.
