This is not really the area for haute cuisine, but there are numerous cafés, such as long-
time favorite Vineyard Café. Jiugulou Dajie, on the west side of the Drum Tower, is a great
street to wander along and just choose a restaurant at random. It's packed with a wide vari-
ety of fun eateries, with cuisines that include Yunnan, Vietnamese, Italian, and Malaysian.
Alternatively, Café Zarah often exhibits art on its walls and is a popular place for to com-
bine laptop work and coffee, as is Alba, a few doors down.
