filed because of the CE@ANPART project and
thei have developed the Entrepreneurship Center.
The main objectives and priorities of the com-
mon future research are:
economy of SMEs, especially for the de-
velopment of new business and radical
innovation;
Development of a European competence
network of experts for entrepreneurial
skills and of certified entrepreneurs, which
will feed back experiences and best prac-
tices into the qualification and certification
program;
Increasing Europe's entrepreneurial and
innovation power via a modern training
and certification program in the lifelong
learning programs area;
To implement European-wide valid-
ity of both qualification and certification.
The system established over years by the
European Certification and Qualification
Association provides an ideal platform to
achieve this goal (ECQA, 2009);
Increasing the success rate of young en-
trepreneurs on the European level by tar-
geted systematic development and certi-
fication of their competences in terms of
understanding and mastering the keys to
judge if ideas and/or research results are
innovative;
Entrepreneurship is much more attractive
than its image in many EU Member States.
ResEUr shall provide an attractive and
high-quality access to it particularly for
researchers;
Support and encouragement of entrepre-
neurial culture and spirit of young, highly
educated and gifted with huge potential,
students (graduates, masters, PhD students
and young researchers) by giving them the
opportunity to have an EU-wide recog-
nized qualification and certificate in this
field in addition to their specific university
diploma. The demand for these research-
es is especially strong in the information
technology area, where often hi-tech busi-
ness ideas get obsolete or common practice
very quickly.;
ResEUr focuses on key qualifications for
researchers to become successful entrepre-
neurs. It positions itself complementary to
the generic trainings and support programs
for new entrepreneurs;
A clearly described curriculum and one
European certification standard for all lev-
els of education, will promote quality as-
surance in all sectors of education;
ResEUr qualification will be based on
the use of “Best Practices” and “Lessons
Learned” to a large extent by using practi-
cal examples and real life cases.
A specific impact group refers to the young
researchers in the manufacturing area who are
confronted with the particular challenge of mas-
sive outsourcing of production (and increasingly
also development) to low-wage countries notably
in Asia. Without a qualification, the new project
researches wants to establish, Europe risks to lose
their potential to create the innovations that are
the key to bringing manufacturing competences
and capacities back to Europe. These predominant
two target groups can be optimally impacted by
the proposed consortium.
The future researches expected impact are
mainly manifested in the following key aspects
(in the context of the ResEUr project):
Establishment of a complete and consistent
self-assessment, training and certification
platform for entrepreneurial competences
of researchers on the European level. This
will have a positive impact on the knowl-
edge interoperability in the European
