sidedness causes humankind to subsidize making
of our own air, water and found poisonous for a
tiny minority of humans to earn big money, while
85% of humankind live on less than six US$ a
day (in India the poverty line is even at ten US$
a month per person).
The right of irresponsibility and the right of
abuse are so dangerous, that a socio-economic
innovation must take place to make human behav-
ior more holistic by adding broad and long-term
criteria to narrow-minded and short-term criteria
of behavior, especially of the most influential
humans. In other words: social responsibility
may not remain a free-will option, neither may
the right of irresponsibility and abuse survive for
humankind to survive.
The rights of irresponsibility and abuse have
been too dangerous for millennia to be allowed
to survive any longer. They destroyed the slavery
and feudal times, but not they brought comparable
socio-economic relations back. For selfish reasons,
humans must become less selfish and stop hat-
ing their fellow-humans, them-selves and their
children and grandchildren in need of a healthy
nature and life style.
Humankind needs a new economic and legal
paradigm aimed at
holism
rather than one-
sidedness of behavior. This includes new criteria
of economic success exposing efficiency and
sufficiency, real need rather than greed, wellbeing
and happiness, humans as part of nature rather
than unlimited masters over nature, sustainable
future, not only sustainable development, includ-
ing a sustainable present time. The revolution is
made of
innovation
of values, culture, ethics,
and norms, while the revolution in producing
and social technology is around and provides all
we need to become happy rather than desperate
- once the decisive power-holding owners are will-
ing to accept that the new paradigm of requisite
holism under the name of social responsibility
must unavoidable replace the obsolete industrial
paradigm. Otherwise, humankind has a very black
future very close in time to come.
Modern business environments require innovated
business concepts. Meeting new requirements
concerning enterprises' functioning depends also
on creation and implementation of appropriate
information support. For centuries information
requirements of enterprises were primarily limited
to finance. In modern environment enterprises
need
information management innovation
;
holistic thinking must be its background for action
to attain requisite wholeness.
Information support and
information
must
be reliable to not be misinformation. Reliability
of both is crucial for quality of business. Over
the recent decades technological innovations
improved acquisition, distribution and applica-
tion of business information. Less has been done
for assurance of quality of contents of business
information
, aimed at requisitely holistic behavior
and resulting requisite wholeness of attainment
of business goals definition and realization. The
available technological solutions concerning
informatics technology (hardware, software,
communications, or data bases) must hence be
completed up with non-technological
innovation
s
(e.g. Creation of Requisitely Holistic Management
Information). They can enable more
reliability
of information
's contents.
Reliability of
business information
can be
improved, if one understands, considers and
realizes business process requisitely holistically,
because information serves it. Requisite holism
and wholeness can essentially contribute to
its reliability. Hence at matters one tackles the
data-to-information-to-decision process in order
to diminish the number and weight of
errors
.
Data recording errors follow earlier errors - data
selection, data collection and errors in their
backgrounds.
A requisite contents' reliability of
business
information
depends on (dialectical) systems
thinking and business cybernetics, which have
been to poorly apply so far in this context.
