certain task of a project (in the INOVA Project
module) is out of date, and so on.
Another future features will be a contacts
module, or a shared agenda, among others.
We are thinking about the possibility of devel-
oping our future modules in another technology.
Although the technology we are using right now
gives us enough functionality by the moment, and
for most of the modules we want to develop, we are
thinking about produce some utilities that would
not be easily supported by our current system.
For instance, we think about develop some e-
collaboration utilities that are fully supported and
easily integrated with some Java based software.
system has maintained its functionality and
has been transparent for the users, since it
did not interfere with the previous devel-
oped modules.
The use of the INOVA framework has led
the company to improve in the management of
their documents, their sources of information and
their customers, since they have at their disposal
a centralized system with search engines and a
management system, having the possibility of
accessing remotely.
It has also supposed a benefit for the customers,
since the framework provides them with valuable
sources of information and an approach to the use
of control and evaluation tools to find out the state
of innovation of their companies.
Although each result obtained is not totally
innovative by itself, the fact that users can have
access to a wide range of tools related with the
fields of innovation, optimization and valorization
of private companies, is something totally new.
We are constantly increasing these features,
with the idea of offering more and more applica-
tions for the general public, the INOVA customers,
and INOVA staff.

The purpose of this work is to study the benefits
that the use of web technologies can suppose for
a company when they are applied to integrate
their work techniques and procedures. We have
also tried to use it to provide their customers with
several services, and to make easier the expansion
process of the company.
The use of a CMS as a starting point has al-

The fast adjustment of the users to the
tasks of creation, edition and publication
of contents in the framework since they do
not need to have previous specialized com-
puting knowledge.

A secure system for the contents, because
of the effective management of the roles
that it makes for the access and publication
to the framework.
