To offer the current customers of INOVA,
via extranet, access to applications that
would help in the tracking and manage-
ment of their projects, give information
about technological agents, and show a
detailed list of techniques to implement
innovation, optimization and valorization
processes in their company.

We can distinguish two main goals in this project,
which can be explained in a brief description as:
•
To offer support services to the companies
to perform improvement operation pro-
cesses, innovation processes, and to help
them obtain funding for their projects.
•
To establish an intranet system for the
INOVA staff assigned to projects that al-
lows them to access to applications related
to innovation, optimization, and valoriza-
tion processes.
•
To improve the internal processes of
INOVA, allowing the INOVA staff to ac-
cess a database with potential customers
and to have and use standardized protocols
for improvement and innovation processes.
By completing the goals explained above,
INOVA intends to achieve some milestones:
These main goals were divided in several
subtasks, allowing us to see in more detail the
specific objectives we had to meet in this project:

To increase significantly the number of
projects in the companies which lead to
innovative products highly valued in the
market.
•
To update the old INOVA web portal, the
contents as much as the design, and to offer
the general public open access to the cor-
porative company web portal, information
about relevant publications in the areas of
innovation, optimization and valorization,
interesting links and innovation related
news and INOVA news.
•
To integrate the management of the in-
novation as an additional element in the
day-to-day management of the companies,
guaranteeing their sustainability in the
environment of high competitiveness and
globalization in which we are living.
•
To contribute to the development of the
Information Society.
•
To create an internet based platform with
integrated extranet & intranet systems that
allows:
•
To contribute, specifically, in the improve-
ment of the Information Technology and
Communication infrastructures involved
in the business management.
•
To create a database with information
about potential customers, in such a way
that they were able to access, previous
registration, to software applications such
as online forms that allow them to test in
an approximated way the capacity and
the needs of innovation, optimization and
valorization of their companies, informa-
tion about existing funding that the users
and their businesses could apply for carry-
ing out R&D and optimization projects, or
management techniques.
•
To enhance the participation level of the
small to medium-sized Spanish enterprises
in R&D European programs, increasing the
outputs obtained from these participations.
