provement, advanced technology and system
interoperability selection criteria. Importance of
business process improvement selection criterion

Market analysis have shown that ERP systems
are mostly implemented in large companies, while
many of medium-sized and small companies are
still considering implementation of ERP systems.
It is expected that most of small and medium-
sized companies will implement ERP systems in
next years. The small and medium-sized compa-
nies become a challenging market for IT providers,
who already provide ERP systems focused and
tailored especially for small and medium-sized
companies' needs. The model presented in this
chapter could be useful for them to provide ERP
systems tailored for individual needs of the com-
pany. The model could also be useful for companies
considering ERP system implementation to avoid
high costs of failed implementations.
