perceived behavior control on users' intention to
continue using the ERP.

Satisfaction is a key variable to measure the
extent of the continuing use of the IS or repur-
chase a product/ services. It is considered as the
basis of building and strengthening the users'
loyalty to long-term using IS or product/services.
Cheung & Limayem (2005) presented a study on
students using Blackboard as a course manage-
ment system (CMS). His objective is to gain a
better understanding of the factors influencing
students' continued usage of a news technology.
Their results present strong support for the direct
impact of satisfaction on users continues intention
and they noted in their research that satisfaction
is the strongest factor to continue system us-
age. Satisfaction has been widely adopted as an
important determiner of IS success. Danaher &
Rust (1996) found that a customer (user) who is
more satisfied with a service (system) will have
higher subsequent usage levels. Also Chou &
Chen (2009) found in their study that satisfaction
with IS use is the strongest predicator of users'
continuance intention. Satisfaction lead to using
the system but using the system can not lead to
satisfaction (Baroudi et al., 1986). This leads to
the following hypothesis:
From the above discussions of the three theoretical
perspectives upon the continuance decision we will
introduce in the following section our hypotheses:
Confirmation of users' expectation of using
IS can indirectly influence IS continuance use
mediated by satisfaction or perceived usefulness.
Just as in IS acceptance contexts perceived
ease of use can affect perceived usefulness. Con-
firmation can also influence perceived usefulness
in the post-acceptance contexts. The users in the
acceptance phase are unsure of what to expect
as they do not have enough information about
the system. This leads to low initial usefulness
perceptions of new IS (Bhattacherjee, 2001; Bhat-
tacherjee & Premkumar, 2004) which are easily
confirmed. Such perceptions may be adjusted
higher as they know more about the system. In
summary, users often adjust their perceptions to
be consistent with reality. This means confirma-
tion can elevate perceived usefulness.
Expectation confirmation theory posits that
user satisfaction is determined by two factors:
expectation of IS and confirmation of the expec-
tation which will lead to reusing the IS. As noted
by Bhattacherjee, “Confirmation is positively
related to satisfaction with IS use because it im-
plies realization of the expected benefits of IS use
while disconfirmation denotes failure to achieve
expectation” (Bhattacherjee, 2001, pp.355-356).
Also Wang & Hsieh (2006) confirmed in the results
of their study that confirmation of expectation is
positively associated with satisfaction. Based on
the above discussion the following hypotheses
are proposed:
H2: In an ERP implementation environment Sat-
isfaction has a positive effect on Users' Intention
to continue using ERP system.
Subjective Norm is one direct determinant of
theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen,1991) which
is defined as the degree to which an individual
believes that people who are important to him/her
think he/she should perform the behavior in ques-
tions. Thus, employees are likely to be influences
when deciding to continue use ERP by both what
