In-Depth Information
at the Today show was organising our live cross. I was interviewed by
reporters from Australia and from North and South America. Dillon
and Brooke called me. One fellow from New York took the trouble
to email and congratulate me, saying he could remember me drag-
ging tyres in New York's Central Park in December 2010. A group of
Australians showed up to say well done. From Sydney, Brisbane and
Melbourne, they had been on a tour to the edge of the Antarctic, and
when they heard I was finishing in Ushuaia they came across. No mat-
ter where I have been on this monumental run, I have bumped into
Australians.
Tomorrow, I have a day off, my first in 10 and a half months. I
think I'll sleep in.
