who is just like the comedian Eddie Murphy. He's constantly cracking
jokes and clowning around, especially when the camera's rolling.
Today I dipped my feet in the Caribbean Sea, and I will sleep on
the dirt floor of a hut of a welcoming, kind and very curious local tribe.
They cooked me rice and noodle soup for dinner.

I slept for only a couple of hours last night, because my mind was rac-
ing ahead of my body to the Colombian border. I was wondering what
will greet me there. I've heard stories about murderous drug cartels.
But, first things first, I told myself: there were still 35 kilometres—a
full day's run in this terrain—to go. So far, thanks to my guard, I have
stayed safe in the Darién, but there is still time for plenty to go wrong
on this, my last day in the notorious rainforest. As I started running,
my clothes and shoes were still drenched from yesterday.
