Today was Pat Farmer Day in Houston, Texas. Wow! At a function at the
City Hall, Mayor Annise Parker presented me with a framed document
that read:
Whereas the city of Houston honours Pat Farmer for his amaz-
ing strength, dedication and stamina on his extraordinary
humanitarian mission and inspiration to all, I, Annise Parker,
Mayor of the city of Houston, hereby declare July 22, 2011, Pat
Farmer Day.
It was a solemn occasion staged in front of a number of dignitar-
ies as well as my team, but while honoured, and I was appreciative,
