has feted “Cheese Country” since 1914 with celebratory fairs, Swiss mu-
sicians, fun runs, a street dance, a carnival, exhibitions, an absolutely enormous cheese-
flavored parade, and tons and tons of swiss and limburger (including a 200-pound wheel
produced on the square over the weekend).

It's an admirable exercise in purely sustainable living—100 percent powered by renewable
sources, organic gardens (their greenhouse even has papayas year-round), and on and on
(it's won virtually every accolade available for their efforts). It's simply a pure escape.
